Current: A Runway for Our River

Current was fun and refined fashion show presented by William Maestas Productions that took place on Saturday, November 19th, 2016 at The Articulate in Fort Collins, Colorado! This show blended fashions from local boutiques and designers with hair and make up artistry by local salons and stylists. An open bar featured complementary beer from New Belgium Brewing, wines provided by Pringle's Fine Wine & Spirits, a food truck by local favorite, The Taco Stop, a substantial silent auction featuring products from local restaurants, boutiques, artists, as well as autographed Broncos Memorabilia, tickets to Disney Theme Parks, eight local vendors for shopping, a 250 foot runway and more!

The goal of Current was to help raise funds for Save The Poudre, a local non-profit whose mission is to protect and restore the Cache la Poudre River. The River is as a special place, widely known for its clean water, wildlife, bike trail, fishing, boating, that benefits tourism and the local economy. The Poudre is the only river in Colorado designated as a federal “Wild and Scenic” river and is threatened to be de-watered by a proposed reservoir project near Ted’s Place.
